Since I (Arkased) wrote this before publishing, we haven’t actually had anyone ask us questions, so calling this page “FAQ” wouldn’t be wholly accurate. Hopefully it will someday, and then we’d be able to change it.
Why did you name yourself “FourTrans,” despite only having three people at the time of founding?
For those who haven’t noticed, “FourTrans” is a thinly veiled reference to the programming language Fortran, chosen because DRY and I have experience writing code (her much more so than myself). Oh and Mango loves puns.
What do y’all do?
We’re students in California.
Sponsored chapters?
At the moment we’re just getting things set up so we have yet to implement a system of sponsored chapters. We’re pretty busy with other school/life stuff so the time we can devote to this site is unfortunately constrained. If there is interest in getting sponsored chapters (leave a comment somewhere or message us, we’ll read anything at this point), we will get a system set up ASAP.
